Paul Wight, The Giant

Paul Donald Wight, Jr. was born on February 8, 1972 in Aiken, South Carolina.
Before he was known as The Big Show in the WWE, he was known as The Giant in WCW.
Paul debuted on WCW during the Bash at the Beach in 1995.
Paul called himself The Giant and claimed to be the son of André the Giant.
He said he blamed Hulk Hogan for the death of his "father", joined the Dungeon of Doom, and began a heated feud with Hogan.

The Giant was in one of the most unusual wrestling matches I have ever seen, the "Monster Truck Battle" at Halloween Havoc.
The "match"took place on top of Cobo Hall, with each man driving a monster truck and trying to force the other truck out of a circle, as in a sumo wrestling.
Hogan won the match when the Giant got out of his vehicle and appeared to fall from the roof.
(This all started because the Giant ran over Hogan's Harley-Davidson Motorcycle with a monster truck)

Amazingly, not only was the Giant not dead, but he showed up later that night and challenged Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
The Giant got the win by disqualification after Jimmy Hart (Hogan's manager) interfered.
The "swerve" came when Hart said Hogan had signed the contract for the match, not knowing there was a "title changes hands by disqualification clause" in it.
So The Giant became the champion.
It didn't really matter anyway, because of the controversial finish of the match, the title was held up.

Another amazing (to me at least) match in the WCW was an episode of WCW Monday Nitro when Goldberg faced the Giant in a no disqualification match.
Goldberg gave him the delayed vertical suplex and then hit the Jackhammer on The Giant.

The Giant's contract expired on February 8, 1999, and he went to the then WWF.

Stephanie Bellars aka Gorgeous George - WCW

Stephanie Bellars was born on born January 25, 1978 in Rockford, Illinois.
She is best known for her time in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as Gorgeous George (not to be confused with 1950s wrestler, but looking at her picture, is there a chance of that?)
Stephanie made her pro wrestling debut in WCW at the 1999 Spring Stampede.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage was dating her at the time and brought her in as his valet.
This was after Savage and Miss Elizabeth had broken up again.
Savage was injured, so the two didn't make it back onto TV until April 1999. The Macho Man started a feud with Ric Flair, so Stephanie (as Gorgeous George) started a feud with Flair's handpicked referee, Charles Robinson.
There was actually a match at Slamboree on May 9, 1999 where George faced Robinson, with her using the Macho Man's moves and Robinson using Flair's.
George won the match with the flying elbow, but that was enough for Stephanie and she said she didnt want to wrestle anymore.
She claimed she was injured in the match and started using crutches, which she used on "Rowdy" Roddy Piper when she turned heel.

Stephanie Bellars aka Gorgeous George - WCW

Stephanie left WCW and went to ECW in 2000. Since Savage had trademarked the name "Gorgeous George", she was simply called "George".
At Heatwave 2000, she was the valet of Tommy Dreamer, but she turned on him, joining Justin Credible.
During her time in ECW, she also had a feud with Francine.

In 2001, George married Misfits guitarist , Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, and she also worked for GLOW as a referee.
She then went to Xtreme Wrestling Federation (XWF) and formed the X-Girls with former Nitro Girls Kristina Laum and Chiquita Anderson.

She showed up a few times after that in 2004 on TNA as Minsa, but it never really lead to anything.

In 2005, her husband Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein formed his own band "Gorgeous Frankenstein" named after his beautiful wife.
